FAQ’s (Frequently asked questions)

  1. Question: I would like to enrol in a course. Please advise me your training schedule?

Answer: We run open training programmes in the East Asia Pacific region, including Timor Leste, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Bangladesh. Details and registration are available on our ‘NGO Training’ Page. In addition, we have the capacity to run in-house, on-site programmes in your country, tailored to your organisation’s requirements.

  2. Question: How do I request for a training course to be conducted in my country?

Answer: We would be most pleased to assist with a proposal and quotation, with no obligation on your part. Please use our ‘Contact Us’ page, and email your request using the form provided. We would be happy to conduct the workshop programme at the location of your choice, subject to availability.

  3. Question:  How are your in-house training programme charges computed?

Answer:  We would be pleased to provide an indication quotation based on your organisation’s requirements. The total expenditure is made up of the daily training cost, venue and logistics costs, plus the trainer’s airfare and accommodation.

  4. Question: Do you carry out a training needs analysis?

Answer: A Training Needs Analysis is an essential diagnostic tool, a necessary pre-requisite to any training programme. Yes, we request all participants to complete a TNA questionaire prior to attending our courses. In the case of in-house programmes, we also conduct a second level TNA to be completed by your HR and management. This would normally be conducted by your organisation using our format, and with our support. The TNA is a powerful tool to identify the skills deficit to be addressed, and target the programme focus accordingly.

  5. Question: How do you evaluate the outcomes of your courses?

Answer: Through pre and post programme questionnaires.

  6. Question: What is your post-course follow up?

Answer: We offer expert tutor email support for a three month period immediately following the programme completion. We may decide to post selected questions and answers on the Eden Blog page, if the content is of common interest to other participants or viewers.

  7. Question: Do you issue a certificate of completion?

    Answer:  Yes, on request.

  8. Question: My organizations resources are very limited. Is sponsorship available?

Answer: We could try to match you with an appropriate donor, but the commencement of the programme would be delayed until a match is found.
